Welcome New and Returning Bear Scouts!!
We're excited to announce that we have all 9 Bear Scouts returning and 9 New Bear Scouts joining for the upcoming year and tons of fun planned. Since you're all 3rd graders, we're going to be learning more advanced skills and expecting you to work even harder this year.
As always, we'll be meeting twice per month on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 with the locations rotating between homes and Go-See-It locations. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach our to Todd or I any time.
See the main calendar for all pack events, but Bear Den Meetings and other activities planned only for our group will be listed on the right side of this page. If you see something missing or have a suggestion, let Todd or Bill know.

Sorry guys, but we had to change the date. The next November den meeting has been changed from 11-16 to 11-09, a week earlier. I hope all of you are able to make it. See you there. |

Thanks to all those who could attend tonight’s meeting. We all missed Bill a lot!! For those that were unable to make it, we worked on achievement #3 in the bear book. All the boys did a great job thinking about what makes America special to me. I also thought they all listened very well while we learned about the what the color guard does and as they all worked in a team to practice presenting the flags. Good Job scouts!!
Enjoy working on the remaining two tasks in the achievement to complete achievement #3, don’t forget J is a must. Only 4 are letter need to be completed, any extras you complete will be tracked and may be used as toward the electives. Make sure to bring the books to the meetings so we can check and track their progress.
Thanks again for a great evening and we’ll see you at the next Pack event on October 16th at Nye Park on Sunset. Wear a costume with the scout t-shirt under if you have one for games that follow the costume contest.

Thanks to all the parents and scouts that made it out to our first den meeting of the year. I think the boys had a lot of fun. We worked on our Bobcat requirements, some for the first time and everyone did well. New parents...please work with your scout on the Bobcat requirements as this teaches some important foundational information they'll need going forward. We'll cover some of this again at the next meeting and give everyone a chance to share their progress.
Remember, badge requirements really step up this year so we'll need your help working with them between meetings to keep up. We'll share the track at the next meeting to give everyone an idea of what you're in for:)
Don't forget to get down to the Scout shop and pick up any missing uniform items and your bear handbook.
See you on the 25th! |

Thank you and WELCOME to all of the new Bear Scouts and parents that came out to the Round-Up at the Lutz Elementary Cafeteria tonight. We have a total of 9 new members bringing our count to 18...Wow! With this many scouts, we'll be able to create a new den. This means we'll be counting on some of the parents to step in and help and at least 2 to volunteer as Den Leaders.
Please call Todd or I if you are interested in leading the den. I can promise you that it will be a great experience. Our contact information is below.
See you Monday at 6:30!
